Campus Startup Program
TEZ would like to offer the Campus Startup Program to the College/Univ in the following ways:
- Campus Startup Program
- Start-up Launcher Program – 10-Day program (in 10 weeks)
- Startup Workshop Series – 4 – Day program (in 4 weeks)
- Start-up Boot Camp – 2 days (continuously)
- Start-up Talks – 1 day (3 hrs)
- Setting up and operating the Incubator (1Year)
1.Campus Start-up Programs
i.Start-up Launcher Program (10 days, 30 hrs)
The program will be done over a 10-day period in 20 sessions. The sessions will start with bringing up innovative ideas that can be converted to product/services, which will be tested for market fit. Business Model will be made around the product to assess resource requirements. Regulation & legal compliances and financial understanding is a must and will be taught. Valuation of business and funding is another area that startups need to know. Finally its how to market and present your business through a business plan and a pitch deck which will be the outcome which can be taken forward.
Program Schedule is given:
Total Sessions – 20 sessions over 10 weeks. Two continuous sessions, one day a week, for 10 weeks.
Total Hours/Days – 30 Hours of training @3 hrs per day for 10 days
No. of Students – Max 60
Resources: There will be 4-5 resources handling the workshop. Profiles attached
Outcomes:
- The participants will converge on an idea that they want to take forward.
- The will come up with a first version of their Business Model & Business Plans.
- They will be mentored to improve their B-Plans and make a final version for pitching.
- Final B-Plans will be pitched in front of eminent jury who will further mentor them.
- If any startups are looking for funding, they can seek help from our consultants.
- Your college will end up having startups on Campus and facilitating the “Startup India” initiate which will be a great show-case for the institution
ii. Start-up Workshop Series – 4 days (12 hours)
The Start-up Workshop Series is done in 8 sessions over 4 days @ 1 day a week. Day 1 begins with motivation to undertake entrepreneurship and market opportunity recognition. It will focus on idea convergence and market validation process of the idea. On Day 2 we build a business model framework for the business identified and take you through the basic requirements of starting up, i.e, Regulation, legal and others. Day 3 will focus on understanding the financial and other resources requirements- creating an organizational setup and building a team. Day 6 will assess funding requirements and the different sources of funding available. Day 4, the final Business Plan is made and a Go-to Market strategy is identified. The participants will form teams and will be mentored to make a business plan which they will present in the form of business plan pitches

iii. Start-up Boot Camp – 2 days (12 hours)
The Start-up Bootcamp is done in 8 sessions. Session 1 begins with motivation to undertake entrepreneurship and market opportunity recognition. Session 2 will focus on idea convergence and market validation process of the idea. Session 3 takes you through the basic requirements of starting up, i.e, Regulation, legal and others. In Session 4 we build a business model framework for the business identified. Session 5 will focus on creating an organizational setup and building a team. Session 6 will assess the different sources of funding available and the funding requirements. Session 7 will work on identifying and targeting customer segment for a Go-to-Market strategy. In the last Session 8, participants will form teams and will be mentored to make a business plan which they will present in the form of a Pitch deck

Total Hours/Days – 12 Hours of training @6 hrs per day for 2 continuous days

Resources: There will be 4-5 resources handling the workshop. Profiles attached
Outcomes:
- The participants will converge on an idea that they want to take forward.
- They will comprehend the different aspects of business planning
- They will make the first version of their Business Model & Business Plans.
- Those interested in taking it forward can be given further mentoring/support
- Your college will be nurturing startups on Campus and facilitating the “Startup India” initiate which will be a great show-case for the institution
iv. Start-up Talk – 1/2 day (3 hours)
This will be a half-day program, which will motivate and sensitize the students to what is entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial mindset. 2-3 well- known entrepreneurs will share their entrepreneurial journey and 1-2 startups will be invited to share their startup challenges and the process of starting up. This will encourage the students to think about taking entrepreneurship as an alternate career and not depend on campus placements alone. It will motivate them through several success stories that innovative thinking, focus, hardwork, network and homework finally pays off.
Total Hours – 3 Hours (half a day), Only for Hyd.
No. of Students – Max 150-200
Resources: There will be 2-3 eminent speakers from Industry.
2. Setting up and operating the Incubator ( 1 year)
Every institution that nurtures entrepreneurship needs to create a complete eco-system around it that includes many stakeholders. Without that, the program will be loose ended and will not give results. So as to create this eco-system of entrepreneurship, we help in creating incubators at institutions that give a sustained handholding in terms of Business Incubation, Mentors Connect, Industry Connect, Investor/banker Connect, Alliance Partnerships, Dealer Networks, Marketing & Branding Orgns, connect with other entrepreneurship organizations like TiE, CII, BYST, etc., and Govt. All this will enable the startups to have a support system to create their venture and enter the market in a time-bound period. As incubators are still new in the existing college institutional setups, there is very little awareness around it as to how to start and run an incubator. As we are closely associated with startups and incubators, we have mapped the requirements of an Incubator to deliver its services to Startups. So we can help institutions to start and run an Incubator in their premises.
Outcomes:
- The students will be encouraged to take up entrepreneurship as an alternate carrier
- They will find a total in-house eco-system to support them.
- Those interested will be given further support with industry and other connects for funding.
- They will be startups emerging from campus giving the Institution a unique brand.
- Your Institution can apply for various Govt grants (TBI, AIC, etc) to support the incubator.
- This will give further Institutional-Industry connects and help also in internships and placements.
Implementation
TEZ (Zen SkillProc Pvt. Ltd) will enter into a MoU with the Institution for setting and running the incubator for a period of 1 year. This will be further renewable according to the requirements of the institution.
